Aspiring self-taught artist. Briefly taught by the artist James Spurlock.
Because I was home schooled from 1st grade to graduation I had nearly unlimited creative freedom. If I wasn’t working on the lessons that were “necessary” (math, American history, science, etc) I was making something, reading about how to make something, watching a program on how to make something or thinking about making something. If there was anything I wanted, that for one reason or another I couldn’t have, I figured out how to make it for myself. After about 12 years of doing that I’ve accumulated a lot of handmade original… “Stuff”.
Out of all that “stuff” my drawings and paintings are the most special to me. I put a huge amount of effort into being original and unique, and just like everything I do I try to
make each piece my best.
Also my “Art-cessories” usually have “Mintage” (modern vintage)written on them it is the name I want for a clothing line.
